I am realy trying to start this life changing diet out right, but i am finding it kinda hard to eat all of the good food that im supposed to! not that Im eating bad, its that im finding it VERY DIFFICULT TO EAT EVERYDAY! I have some bad habits to break; as in, acualy eating everyday, instead of eating only one meal, or sometimes going a couple days without eating ANYTHING at all. does anyone have any advice on how i can change from eating practicly nothing, to eating 4 to5 small meals a day? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Wow.. I've never had a problem eating. That being said. Find something that you do frequently during the day, and make sure you eat then. Like every time you go pee eat a healthy snack. Just a thought... it's kind of like how you remember to take a pill. (After you brush your teeth!) GOOD LUCK KATIE!!!!

I have the opposite problem...eating too often. Kari had a good idea that she wrote above. Do you have a husband and/or kids (couldn't remember)? If so, are you cooking for them and could you eat along with them? And if not, maybe it's something you have to simply schedule into your day. Like exercise...I have to schedule/plan it for a certain time each day to ensure that I do it. Pick times during that day that will work with your schedule and plan to eat at that time each time. Put it in your calendar for the day, or set an alarm on your phone/clock to remind you, etc. It's all about discipline and getting our bodies used to a new habit...whether it's eating less, or eating more, or eating different things or exercising. It's creating a new habit that we aren't used to. It's not easy, no matter what the new habit is. But it's important. Let us know how it goes and if you can come up with a good plan to make that work better for you!!

I totally agree with Kristi when she says set your cell phone! I also think it helps to KNOW the meals you are going to eat. plan out a day, 1/2 week...week at a time with the meals you are going to eat and then just make sure you eat them when your timer goes off! If you know you are going to be out and about, bring it with you! Good luck! We for sure need to get together to share ideas!

I like to check things off a list. So every morning I have a list
- morning exercise
- (house chore of the day)
- eat a vegetable snack

etc.
For some reason it helps me to get to check things off.

If you are a list person it might work for you to have a little check list.
